We formed this online Young Adults Group that we call AMICI CARMELI ("Friends of Carmel") and we had our first meeting on May 1 by Zoom. We had a night of prayers, sharing our reflection on the Gospel passage On the Road to Emmaus in Luke 24 :13-35, and laughs! We were expecting more but many could not make it that night. A great bunch! If you know of young people who want to be part of this group, have them contact us! We'll talk about our faith, our faith journey, contemporary issues, Carmel and its Saints and anything of interest. For next month's meeting, we will be studying Saint Therese. The group chose Saint Therese to be its Patroness! We are looking forward to expand this group so that we can develop a network of young women zealous for the Lord and grow in our intimacy with Him.
