Mission Bound

Our Novices received their much anticipated news of where they will spend their Mission Experience!  As part of their continuing formation, senior novices are sent to one of the facilities served by the Congregation to continue the mission experience began during postulancy of caring for our Residents.

Sr. Mary Catherine Angeline looks forward to going to Marian Manor in South Boston, MA.

Sr. Luke Mary said that she is packed and ready for Carmel Manor in Fort Thomas, KY.

Sr. Hope Therese is happy to spend her mission experience in Carmel Richmond, Staten Island, NY.

And Sr. Maureen Paul was ecstatic to be going to a warmer climate in Lourdes Noreen McKeen Residence in West Palm Beach, FL! She misses her New Mexico climate.

We wish our dear Novices a blessed and happy Mission Experience. They leave Saint Teresa's Motherhouse on January 31, 2014!  In the words of our Foundress, Venerable Mary Angeline Teresa, "Sisters, are your shoes shined?"

  1. Oh this is so great...I think I am the most happy for Sister Maureen Paul! Now that is just perfect. I know Sister Hope wanted to get into the city too. Sister Luke, guess what.....Sister Hope has a childhood pony that now lives in Kentucky....it's a good thing she's not going there, otherwise he might be coming back with her to the motherhouse....although he always loved being around our ducks.....I don't think Sister Christopher would appreciate more livestock to take care of!!!!! Sister Mary Catherine will be in good hands in Boston....wow! Doesn't it seem like time is flying. I am praying for you all a lot over the next year as you continue your formation in missions, courses and the preparation of first vows. What a blessing it is for me to be able to share and follow your journeys. I am so excited for all of you! Sister Hope aka "the happy traveler" as she is know by her family, I know you will love being off on a new adventure of service to Our Lord! I'm sure a lot of time, thought and attention by the Sisters has gone into the selection of all your missions. It is again, so very beautiful to see how you all love, support and work together for the Kingdom of God. May you be blessed by a precious and loving Christmas as Christ enters into the warm and peaceful mangers of your hearts. Merry Christmas dear Sisters....I love you all and God bless your work! Love and prayers....Mamma Jo
